Heat Wave Elderly Monitoring System

A program to assign buddies to Elderly or other high risk citizens to check on them during heat waves and other dangerous events. The elderly in particular are especially vulnerable to heat stroke, and it is recommended to check in with them at least once or twice a day during these heat events. As rising temperatures are only becoming more and more common, more formal systems put in place to protect aging populations could be very valuable.
