There are a growing number of “Next Generation” office spaces popping up downtown, but they’re scattered all around. They would benefit from geographic clustering to help create a mutually beneficial community where they could learn from one another. Events, programming, and showcases for ideas (things like a local version of TEDx) can also help bring them together regardless of their geographic location. Having maker spaces in addition to coworking spaces will also help enhance the culture of downtown and allow trades to blossom locally.
