Central Management for Parking

All of Downtown’s parking is privately owned and operated; therefore, pricing and management of overall parking in Downtown is impossible. Creating a central parking management program will allow Downtown to tailor pricing with supply/demand of parking spaces, communicate to drivers where empty spaces are located, and allow for land-banking of surplus parking facilities. Could be a part of a Smart City design.
